Reform timeline
After multiple postponements, the French reform now phases in from 1 September 2026: every French business must be able to receive a structured e-invoice from that date.
Issuing obligations: from 1 September 2026 for large and mid-sized companies, and from 1 September 2027 for small businesses and micro-entrepreneurs. E-reporting (B2C and cross-border) follows the same calendar.
Invoices route through the Plateforme Publique de Facturation (PPF) and Plateformes de Dématérialisation Partenaires (PDPs).
Chorus Pro (B2G)
For public-sector buyers, Chorus Pro has been the mandatory channel since 1 January 2017 for large companies, fully extended in 2020. Submission is via the PISTE API using a CIUS-CP UBL profile of EN 16931.
The buyer is identified by SIRET (14-digit) + service code. Eurobillr enters both into PartyIdentification and routes through PISTE.
