How to Register on the PEPPOL Network in Belgium (Step-by-Step)
Registering on the PEPPOL network sounds technical. It isn't. With the right software, you can be registered and sending compliant e-invoices in under 2 minutes. Here's exactly how it works.
What You Need Before You Start
- Your KBO/BCE enterprise number (10 digits — find it at kbo.fgov.be or on your incorporation documents)
- Your Belgian VAT number (BE + 10 digits)
- An email address
That's all. No certificates, no digital signatures, no IT support needed.
Step 1 — Create Your Eurobillr Account
Go to eurobillr.com/auth/register.php and create a free account. No credit card required.
Step 2 — Enter Your Company Details
In Settings → Company Profile, enter your company name, KBO/BCE number, VAT number, legal address, and IBAN. Eurobillr validates your KBO number against the official Belgian Crossroads Bank for Enterprises database automatically.
Step 3 — Your PEPPOL ID is Generated Automatically
Based on your KBO number, Eurobillr generates your PEPPOL ID in the format 0088:0123456789 and registers it with the OpenPEPPOL network via Eurobillr's certified Access Point. You receive confirmation within minutes.
Step 4 — Share Your PEPPOL ID
Once registered, share your PEPPOL ID with clients and suppliers:
- Add it to your email signature
- Include it on your website contact page
- Add it to your quotes and proposals
Step 5 — Send Your First PEPPOL Invoice
Click New Invoice, fill in your client's details (or enter their KBO number and Eurobillr finds their PEPPOL ID automatically), add your invoice lines and VAT rates, and click Send via PEPPOL. Done.
Receiving PEPPOL Invoices
You don't need to do anything to receive PEPPOL invoices. Once registered, incoming invoices from suppliers arrive automatically in your Expenses tab — with all data pre-filled. Zero manual entry.
How Long Does the Registration Stay Active?
Your PEPPOL registration is permanent as long as your Eurobillr account is active. No annual renewal, no re-registration process.
